Duties Included:

  • Travel from District to District to fill positions of various Officers of the Department. Who were on leave that included vacation leave and sick leave and other long leave.
  • Handled the FAM-care (Computer) system, attend meetings, form groups, do intakes of persons entering the offices of the Women’s department.
  • Formulate plans with clients and monitor, evaluate and report to supervisors.
  • Participate in home studies, evaluations and recommendations.
  • Participate in disaster relief activities for larger populations.

2017 – 2020

Self-employed: Owner, manager and marketing director of Claudia’s Chix Rotisserie Chicken

Accomplishment:

  • Was able to successfully earn $27,600 per annum ($82,800 a little short of three years).
  • Successful marketing on social-media, creating pamphlets, flyers and business cards.
  • Build and sustain clientele to support business for three years.

2011 – 2016

Employee of the Government of Belize

(2011 – 2013) – Primary School Counselor for twenty-six (26) primary schools in the Cayo district, Belmopan area.

Accomplishments:

  • Primary School Counselor- was able to visit, educate and perform clinical visits to the twenty-six (26) primary schools.
  • Was able to develop educational outreach packages.
  • Work with schools and Ministry of Education Administrations.
  • Assist students on a one to one basis, in-groups and as schools depending on the impact of the incident or the trauma.

(2013 – 2016)

Seconded to the Scout Association of Belize as Field and Finance Executive.

Accomplishments:

  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Recruit and travel throughout the Corozal and the Cayo Districts.
  • Oversee, provide guidance to group leaders and assist in the development of their leadership skills.
  • Work with youths, provide conflict mediation, problem solving and positive interactions to engage youths in a positive mind frame.
  • Write proposals and raised funding for the Scout Association of Belize in an amount of over $150,000 in three years.
  • Visited San Pedro, Ambergris Caye and all other districts to provide administrative support.

2001 -2009

Employee of the Government of Belize – Women Development Officer of the Cayo District.

Accomplishments:

  • Main purpose to empower and support women in the Cayo District.
  • Work with communities, non-profit organizations, court and the police to aid women development.
  • Assisted in the creation of several successful women’s groups in the Cayo District (two still functioning women’s groups in the San Antonio Village up to today 2020).

2001- 2023

  • Conducted three workshops for advocates and victim rights approach Sept.-Oct. 2020.
  • Volunteered at the Belmopan City Council from 2011 – 2018 assistant to the Event’s coordinator.

  • Hold a driver’s license for all private motor vehicles class AD (standard, automatic vehicles and motorcycle)

Hobbies

  • Traveling the entire country of Belize. Love traveling within country. (Have traveled to Canada, Jamaica, Mexico City, Guatemala City and U.S.A., recently to Honduras for a Scout Conference)
